All at Cray Wanderers would like to thank everyone who came to the End of Season Award presentation at Hayes Lane yesterday afternoon. There was a huge turnout of 1st Team players and management, Chairman, Vice-Chairman and CEO, Committee members, Youth Team coaches, players and parents and was a great afternoon for the club and its immediate and long-term future to have so many teams represented.
The 1st team award prizes were announced and for 2018-19 the winners were:
Cray Wanderers Supporters Player of the Year – Bradley Pritchard
Manager’s Player of the Year for 2018-19 was also won by Bradley Pritchard. An excellent season for the dedicated and professional Bradley Pritchard who has made such a great impact on the club since arriving in the summer. Well done Bradley.
Player’s Player of the Year – 2018-19. As decided and voted by his peers, the winner of the Player’s Player of the Year was Ben Mundele. A remarkable season for Ben who turned in many consistent displays for Cray Wanderers often in a variety of positions and also has represented England C. Congratulations Ben.
Young Player of the Year 2018-19 – After a very strong season which saw him as joint top scorer and a number of outstanding performances the winner of the Young Player of the Year is Freddie Parker
Golden Boot – Co-winners this year with 13 goals each, Freddie Parker and Joe Taylor who only joined Cray Wanderers in December. Freddie ended the season scoring in the last three games.
Recognition Award 2018-19 – Bill Lappage – A deserved award for a great football man & gentleman who has been a true inspiration for everyone at the club from player, management, committee and supporters and all the clubs Bill has served. Always willing to pass on the benefit of his experience to everyone around the club and a teller of many football stories Thank you Bill from all at Cray Wanderers.
