With just four days to go to the start of the Ryman South season, here is a reminder of the matches coming up in August for Cray.
We begin the season with the visit of Sittingbourne on Saturday, followed by first time trips to Guernsey on Wednesday 17th August and in the FA Cup Preliminary Round, we travel to Badshot Lea (Ash United) on Saturday 20th August. Depending on no replay in the FA Cup then over the bank holiday weekend the Wands are at home to Faversham Town on Saturday 27th August and are off to Chatham Town on Bank Holiday Monday.

A note for fans travelling to Guernsey, there is no official supporters travel available for this game. The address of the ground is Footes Lane, Saint Peter Port, Guernsey. The ground is a community stadium which is the home of the Rugby club and has a six lane athletics track. It is located centrally in the island, is easily accessible with parking for several hundred cars in the immediate vicinity and on a regular bus route stopping immediately outside the stadium. It is approximately three miles north easterly from Guernsey Airport and one mile west from St Peter Port, the island’s capital. Being obviously the summer holiday season check if you are adept at booking flights there are a number of options as you will have to stay over night with the match being midweek and you will need to book hotel accommodation.
For those wishing to go to Badshot Lea which hopefully will be simpler for you to get to, please note that the club groundshare at Ash United. The ground is located in Surrey in the borough of Guildford close to the Hampshire border and near to the military town of Aldershot.

Take the A323 to Ash. Turn left into Shawfield Road, and left again into Youngs Drive. From the M25 get onto the A3 heading to Guildford/Portsmouth. Keep on this until you reach the A31(Hog?s Back). Then go onto the A31 until you reach the exit for the A331 to Aldershot. Follow the signs for Aldershot, which will be the 1st exit off the A331.When you reach the roundabout take the exit for Woking, which will be the 3rd exit off. Upto the roundabout turn left into Shawfields Road, follow road for about 500yards, the football Ground is on the left, take next turning on your left into Youngs Drive where club is 50yards on.
If going by train there are services to Ash from London Waterloo via a change at Guildford. Trains leave Waterloo every fifteen minutes with trains from Guildford roughly every half hour and takes ten minutes. Ash Vale station is also close and there are direct services at 23 and 53 past the hour from Waterloo or you can get there via a change at Woking.
