Cray Wanderers Youth Round up – 27/11/16
Apologies, your reporter wasn’t feeling too well this morning so wasn’t able to provide a report. Normal service will be resumed next Sunday.
There were two excellent wins in Cup competitions for two of our Kent Youth League sides.
The U16s who have been in very good recent form made it through to the 3rd Round of the Kent County Cup with a tremendous 4-1 win at Tunbridge Wells U16s. Michael Bruno’s side have also made progress in the League Cup and they are at home in the 3rd Round next Sunday against Herne Bay U16s.
The U14s have also been in tremendous form and made it through in the League Cup with a fine 3-1 win at Crayford Arrows. Sean Foley and Lee Amis’ team will now face Tunbridge Wells in the Quarter Final on 18th December. They are also still involved in the Kent County Cup where they will travel down to Dover Athletic on 11th December.
In the Selkent League, Timi Osidobu’s U15s made it six games unbeaten with a 3-0 home win against Beacons at Mottingham Recreation Ground. The Wands move up to 3rd in the table with 9 points from 8 games and avenged a 0-3 defeat to Beacons on the first day of the season.
James Taylor’s U13s Sharks have also been playing well and drew 2-2 at Orpington FC in their latest league match
