Good luck to the Cray Wanderers Women who this afternoon seek a piece of history and a place in the 3rd Qualifying Round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup for the first time.
The Wands visit Ashford Town (Middlesex) Women with kick off at 3 pm.
Cray have started the season in style with just two games played scoring 14 goals averaging 7 goals a game. In the 1st Qualifying Round Cray beat Margate 7-1 at Flamingo Park. Millie Main joined Katie Jackson as a Wands FA Cup hat-trick scorer with three against Margate with Megan Webster, Jessica Oldfield, Storm Arnold and Lucy Rix on target.
Ashford Town will provide stern competition and play in a higher league to the Wands in L&SERWFL Premier. Their season is already underway and have two points from five league games played and enter the FA Cup from this round. The game will be decided on the day and coverage on Facebook and X from Charlie Bradford with the lineups, score updates, report and interviews.
