May-Parrott 30, Kouassi 33

Cray Wanderers 2

Mongoy 26, Bonner 90+2

The Wands pick up another gritty point away from home as Tom Bonner headed home Frankie Raymond’s corner two minutes into added time to deny Hashtag United three points.

Hashtag came close early on through Praise Ogbebor while for Cray Jordy Mongoy tested Jack Giddens with a well struck shot. Lateef Adaja came close shortly before the Wands went in front when Mongoy who had a fine game slotted in from the left byline under Jack Giddens.

Hashtag though turned the game around with two good finishes. On the half hour firstly Luke May-Parrott levelled after capitalising on a loose pass. Then three minutes later Evans Kouassi pounced on a ball over the top to make it 2-1.

The second half didn’t see many chances but became a bit tetchy with yellow cards for both teams.

Substitute Harry Bridle saw an effort saved by Giddens foot who then blocked to deny Adaja from Freddie Price’s cross. Kouassi came close to a third but Harry Seaden did well to save.

Then in a frantic finale two minutes into added time Cray netted against Hashtag for the second time this season as Frankie Raymond’s right wing corner to the far post was headed in by Tom Bonner.

Hashtag almost went back in front but Seaden did well to save from Jaden Brissett and in the end a draw was about the right outcome as Cray move on to 42 points and make it just one defeat in fourteen away from home and
remain 6th in the table and well in touch with the playoffs.

Seaden, Keto (Owiredu-Gyamera, HT), Sutton, Bonner, Morgan (Taylor, 74), Raymond, Waldock, Adaja (Hand 84), Mongoy, Hernandez (Price, 73), Dickson (Bridle, 55).
