Congratulations to the Cray Wanderers U18s Kent Youth League Premier side who completed a league and cup double last night with a 2-1 victory vs Metrogas U18s at the Gallagher Stadium in the League,Cup Final.

Two goals in the first half proved decisive but a very good Metrogas side fought back to make it a close second half.
The Wands clinched the title on 10th May and after losing the season opener lost just one more game and had a 100% home league record. The cup was won with panache scoring 38 goals in 6 games.

Cray also reached the Quarter Finals of the Kent County Cup. Several players played in the FA Youth Cup over a couple of rounds and also featured for the successful U23s championship winning side.

Congratulations to the whole team who have earned the plaudits over many years of going through the age groups and developing under the great coaching of Nick Desanges and Nicky Morley and now ready for the next steps in their careers. The team built on last seasons Kent FA Cup success and league runners up to go one step further and a credit to the club.
It has been a great week for Cray Wanderers and there is one more exciting challenge for the U18s North side on Sunday as well as other successes across the age groups. More details to follow.
