Punjab United v Cray Wanderers – FA Youth Cup Preliminary Round – 3/9/26, 7.45 pm

Cray Wanderers Youth get their season off and running with Cup tie action as Brett Cheesman’s side head to Punjab United for the first time in the competition.

The league campaign gets underway on Sunday but before that the Wands look to advance in a competition which we’ve had some good memories in the past including a run to the 2nd Round Proper in 2018-19 and three runs to the 3rd Qualifying Round. The Wands U18s were Kent Youth League Premier Champions and League Cup Winners last season.

Punjab United Youth section has been successfully overseen by ex-Wand Paul Lorraine and the Gravesend club have been one of the rising Kent clubs for a few years now with the Senior team playing in the Isthmian League South-East and were FA Vase finalists last season. So this will be a tough test but one the players will relish.

The game will be played to a finish this evening with no replay.
