All at Cray Wanderers send our congratulations to Tony Russell who on Saturday celebrates his 200th Isthmian League game in charge of the club.

Tony came to the club in the summer of 2015 and has taken a club back to the Isthmian Premier in four seasons and laid the foundations on the pitch for a bright future while off the pitch other foundations are being laid.

After 199 games, Cray Wanderers have won 107, drawn 50 and lost 42 giving Tony a 54% winning average as manager including last season’s Isthmian South-East title and two playoff appearances in four full seasons and equipping the club well for the return to the Premier. Overall including cup ties, Tony is on 235 official games in charge of the club. It must also be noted that for those 200 games, Nathan White and Ally Maloney have been on the bench with him for the vast majority of the games.

Well done Tony and here’s to the next 100 games and beyond.
