A note for Cray Wanderers supporters of a bit of history for the Cray Wanderers Women’s team who play their first ever home league game this afternoon (Sunday 24th September) as Danson Sports are the visitors. Kick off at Flamingo Park is 2 pm.
Dean Jarman’s side have won both their opening two games at Gravesham and at Petts Wood last Sunday and come into the game in 3rd place in the Southern Counties East League Kent Division One West.
Danson Sports have won one and lost one of their opening two beating Borough Green but were beaten by Tonbridge Angels last Sunday.
This is the start of a new era for Cray Wanderers with so much going on at our new home, with the foundations of the pitch being laid and live music events starting this Saturday and the Women’s team are part of the clubs future going forward.
