FA Cup 4QR Draw – Bedford Town or Wingate & Finchley vs Cray Wanderers – Tie w/e 16/18th October.
A note for supporters that the draw for the 4th Qualifying Round of the FA Cup has been made. The Wands will play the winners of Tuesday night’s replay between Wingate & Finchley or Bedford Town at Summers Lane. The sides drew 2-2 at Bedford on Saturday.
Bedford Town play in the National North and reformed in 1989 after the original Bedford Town folded in 1982 who twice reached the 4th round in the 1960’s.
Wingate & Finchley we know very well and are 14th in the Isthmian Premier and we drew 1-1 there on the opening day of the season. Should Wingate & Finchley win there will be a piece of history as neither the Blues or the Wands have reached the 1st Round before.
More details to follow tomorrow evening.
