A note for Cray Wanderers supporters that the draw has been made for the 1st Round of the FA Trophy. Cray Wanderers after advancing past Needham Market in the last round have been drawn at home to Chesham United in a tie to be played on Saturday 28th October, 3 pm.
Chesham United play in the Southern League Premier South and are currently 3rd in the table and defeated Isthmian Premier Enfield Town 4-3 last Saturday so will pose a serious challenge to the Wands.
The sides have only played once previously in the FA Cup at Chesham on 18th September 1982 with Chesham winning 3-2 with a last minute goal.
A note also that due to both Cray Wanderers and Whitehawk advancing in the FA Trophy, the league game originally scheduled for 28th October will now take place on Wednesday 29th November, 7.45 pm. More details of this fixture to follow.
