Cray Wanderers Squad Update 2026-27 – New Signing – Mitch Chapman
Cray Wanderers are delighted to announce the signing of Mitch Chapman to Flamingo Park as the midfielder makes his return to the club.
Mitch spent a spell at Chislehurst Glebe last season making eighteen appearances in the SCEFL Premier and has looked to complete his rehabilitation following an injury picked up during his first stint with Cray Wanderers.
Mitch had joined Cray in the summer of 2022 from Ramsgate having earlier in his career played for Faversham Town, East Grinstead Town, Hythe Town and Ebbsfleet United before spending three seasons at Ramsgate.
Mitch, the son of former Wand and Millwall and Leyton Orient midfielder Danny Chapman made twenty seven appearances during the 2022-23 season scoring three goals before injury curtailed his season. He spent a spell at Sevenoaks Town during the 2023-24 season and made a brief appearance for Cray against Burgess Hill Town in the league last season before regaining fitness at Chislehurst Glebe for the last part of the season.

Cray Wanderers Squad Update 2026-27 – New Signing – Charlie Paye
Cray Wanderers are pleased to announce the signing of Central Defender Charlie Paye to the club.
Charlie comes to Cray Wanderers from Bromley where he came through the youth section and part of the U18s set up. He made one appearance for the U18s in the Premier Cup vs Sunderland U21s last season.
Charlie made five appearances for Cray Wanderers at the back end of the 2023-24 season. During the 2024-25 season Charlie made six appearances for Horsham YMCA.
At the start of last season Charlie made nine appearances for Hastings United before later having spells at Crowborough Athletic and finished last season at Lewes.
We welcome Charlie to Flamingo Park and hope he enjoys his time with the Wands.

Cray Wanderers are delighted to announce the signing of Alfie Payne to Flamingo Park for the 2026-27 season.
Defensive-Midfielder Alfie joins the Wands from Dulwich Hamlet where he made 35 appearances last season and played in both games against CrayAlfie has played at National South level with Braintree Town and St Albans City and joined Dulwich last summer.
We welcome Alfie to the Wands and hope he enjoys his time with us.

Cray Wanderers Squad Update 2026-27 – New Signing – Rob Strachan
Cray Wanderers are delighted to announce the signing of defender Rob Strachan to Flamingo Park for the 2026-27 season.
Rob comes to Cray from Erith & Belvedere where he made 153 appearances after joining the Deres in 2022 from Welling United.
Rob came through the Millwall youth system playing for the U18s and U21s. From there he played for Aveley and then a short spell at Welling.
We welcome Rob to Cray Wanderers and hope he enjoys his stay with us.
