A look back to Friday night as the Cray Wanderers U23s remain on top of the SCEFL Development League West after a 6-1 win vs Erith & Belvedere U23s in the final home game of the season.

Goals from Corey Holden and George Brooke in the first half for Cray were followed in the second half by goals from Ellis Marsh, Uziel Bateki, Dean Beaney and Tanitoluwa Jegede. Nehemiah Bourne scored for the Deres in the first half.

The win keeps Cray top with Hollands & Blair level on 40 points. Hollands & Blair won 2-0 at Kent United on Thursday night.

Cray have two games left to Hollands & Blair’s one.  The Wands travel to Snodland Town on Thursday 30th April and then are at Kent United on Tuesday 12th May. Hollands & Blair have the Kent Intermediate Cup Final vs Tonbridge Angels U18s on 6th May and the last league game at home to Croydon has yet to be announced.

The Wands were unlucky not to win the title last season but certainly have given themselves a great chance this time
