An important update for Cray Wanderers supporters regarding the VBET Cup Tournament in Jersey scheduled for the weekend of 10th-11th July.

Due to restrictions imposed by the Jersey Government and the fact that from 29th June all of England is to be placed in the Red zone for travel to the island this year’s competition has been rescheduled for 16th-17th July 2022.

All four competing clubs, Cray Wanderers, Jersey Bulls, Hashtag United and FC United of Manchester have committed to next year’s competition.

Apologies for those that have already made plans and booked flights to go and purchased tickets.

Here is the Jersey Bulls Statement:”Jersey Bulls confirm that the VBET cup will be rearranged for 2022.As you will no doubt be aware there have been increased covid levels and new variant strains which have delayed an easing of restrictions across Great Britain. Unfortunately, this means that Jersey Bulls have been forced to take the decision to rearrange the inaugural VBET Cup to the 16th & 17th of July 2022.It is with regret and significant disappointment that all the clubs find themselves in these circumstances – which are beyond their control. However, all clubs understand the need to continue to protect lives and re-main respectful of Government guidance.

We want to advise and reassure supporters from all teams that tickets purchased for the VBET Cup this year will automatically be rolled forward to next year. Should you have any further queries please contact your local club or email info@bulls.je and we will respond as promptly as possible.

Bulls CEO Ian Horswell commented “We are incredibly disappointed that we will not be able to host and compete in this years VBET Cup. There is however some positive news in that we have confirmed a date for next year, and we hope that it will be even bigger and better! We thank the clubs for their interest, cooperation and support and look forward to welcoming them as soon as possible”.Please visit Jersey Bulls FC for more information https://bulls.je/
