South East Counties Women’s Football League League Cup Second Round
Sunday 9th October 2025, 3 PM @ Flamingo Park Sports Ground
After a humbling 7-3 loss last week in the league at Tonbridge Angels, Cray Wanderers Women would have been keen to get back on track this afternoon as they started afresh in another competition – the South East Counties Women’s Football League League Cup.
Today they faced off against a side who have enjoyed a similar start to themselves in the league – Park Regis Ladies – with both sides third in their respective league and eight points off of the league leaders.
With Park Regis a league below Cray in the South East Counties Women’s Football League Kent Division One East to Cray’s Premier Division status, Cray would have been considered the favourites but they could take nothing for granted against a side boasting goal scorers in good form such as Alanna Jefferey with nine goals in six starts.

Perhaps why then that is why they got off to a front foot start – Chloe Obando missing the target at point blank range in the fifth minute.
Park Regis responded to that two minutes later with a good chance of their own – Maddy Titshall having an effort to the bottom left well saved around the post by Cray debutant goalkeeper Zaira Aimey.
The twelfth minute saw Cray break the deadlock with Chloe Obando making up for her earlier miss by slotting into the bottom right unmarked from Millie Main’s pass.
Both sides then spurned a one on one chance – Park Regis’ Sian Boswell dragging wide of the left post before Millie Main dragged past the right post at the other end for the Wands.
The 20th minute saw Cray go 2-0 up and Chloe Obando double her tally for the day when she came up with a precise finish from the edge of the box into the bottom right corner.
Two quickly became 3-0 with Millie Main coming up with a superb piece of skill to beat her defender on the left before drifting towards goal and finishing at the near left post.
Sadly however Millie had to go off later in the first half with a problem to her wrist in a collision but that did not stop Cray’s fluidity in attack with Chloe Francis adding a spectacular fourth in the 35th minute when her 30+ yard free kick flew into the top left corner.
Six minutes later and Millie’s replacement Sarah White got on the scoreboard when she was bundled to the floor for a penalty which she tucked into the bottom left via the fingertips of Park Regis goalkeeper Gemma Norton.
HT: 5-0.
Perhaps guilty of easing off given the scoreline, Cray afforded Park Regis to get a few off target shots at the start of the second half before Cray had chances of their own either saved or finish wide from Grace Laverick, Sarah White, Ellie Rivers and Katie Jackson.
The 63rd minute saw Cray score their sixth when a neat move through the middle put Sarah White in one on one and, after initially hitting the right post, she tucked the rebound into the unguarded net.
Six minutes later and it was seventh heaven for Cray and a Chloe Obando hat trick when she tucked home Grace Laverick’s pass into the empty net.
Cray managed to see out the last twenty minutes relatively unscathed to ensure a safe passage to the next round in their second clean sheet of the season.
Cray Wanderers go on to play Bromley FC’s Development team in round three…
FT: 7-0.
